ACADEMIC AND PRACTICE BACKGROUND
I received my B.A. (Honours in Psychology) in 1972 and my LLB in 1975. I was called to the Ontario Bar in March, 1977 and have been practicing for 38 years.
Over the years my legal team has assisted thousands of people with their Family, Personal Injury, Criminal, Civil and Estate Litigation issues. In the Family Law areas, I have acted for husbands, wives, grandparents regarding custody, access, division of assets and debts as well as spousal and child support issues. I have acted for both owners and workers for wrongful dismissal claims, lenders or borrowers for collections; contractors, owners and workers in construction lien and repair claims. I have acted for hundreds of companies regarding its corporate and commercial matters. I have been corporate counsel for many years to a very public multinational electronics company.
ASSOCIATIONS AND HONOURS
I have belonged to the Canadian Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the National Association of Counsel for Children, the Office of the Children’s Lawyer for Ontario. I am also a registered Notary Public with the Province of Ontario, Trade-Mark Agent for the Government of Canada and belong to the Ontario Lawyer Referral Program.
I have been involved for many years in several community associations and have received numerous certificates of appreciation and awards for my participation in various charitable endeavours. I have had a particular preference for involvement with charities and schools which assist children with learning disabilities.

I am married to my wife, Miriam, for many years. We have children and grandchildren.
